Can I have a head spa treatment with hair extensions installed?

We highly recommend coming in for your head spa appointment in between pull-ups to avoid any damage to your hair and hair extensions.

We want all our clients to have the best possible head spa experience and hair extensions can interfere with our treatments.

Please keep in mind if you wish to proceed with hair extensions we may not be able to preform our massage or use all our scalp tools as intended.

Can I get a head spa if I’m pregnant?

We advise against receiving our treatments for anyone in their third trimester (28 weeks +) as our treatments require you to lay flat for an extended period (60+ minutes), which may cause discomfort for both mother and baby. If you are unsure about anything, for your safety and well-being, we strongly recommend consulting with your GP before proceeding with a booking.

Should I wash my hair before my appointment?

No!

We recommend not washing your hair for at least 48 hours prior to your appointment so we are able to assess your hair and scalp needs before performing our head spa which contains cleansing elements.

Can males have a head spa?

Yes!

We highly encourage males to visit and have a head spa treatment.

Even for bald clients we have a range of products that are suitable for your scalp! Everyone is able to experience the head spa magic

Can I book a couples or group head spa?

Yes! We offer head spas and group packages for up to 4 people at a time. You can book for 2-4 people via our booking link under "Group Bookings".

Is hair drying included?

You can choose to add on a professional blow dry to your service with some of our senior therapists. Otherwise all of our private head spa suites have Dyson hair dryers for you to use at your convenience at the end of your treatment.

What age do I need to be to receive a head spa treatment?

Here at Soak Haus we have a range of services to suit most ages. Anyone under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Speak to our friendly team about choosing the right service.

Does Soak Haus offer gift cards?

Yes!

Gift cards are available to purchase online via our website for an e-voucher option or in spa if you are looking for a physical voucher.

How do I book an appointment using my gift card?

At checkout you’ll have the option to pay with your gift card. it will still ask you for a card to save on file, this is just for security purposes in the case of any no-shows, your card will not be charged if you have entered your gift voucher details.

Is it safe for me to have a head spa after having my hair coloured/perm or keratin straightening?

We have products that are very suitable for post colouring of the hair, which can ultimately increase shine and longevity of the colour.

However to be safe we highly recommend booking in 2 weeks post colouring, or before your hair colour appointment.

We recommend waiting 2 weeks after having your hair chemically straightened or permed.

Is the head spa suitable for someone with psoriasis on the scalp?

Yes!

We have an amazing product range from Oway hair care that is specifically designed to help combat psoriasis and other scalp conditions.
